On the very edge of Europe, the 3 Aran Islands are situated across the mouth of Galway Bay and less than 7 miles from County Clare and Connemare. It was there that our ancestors were born. A place of endless sea and monolithic cliffs of limestone rock. ARAN, meaning stone, strength and heart. Thus our name ARAN ISLE.We were established 30 years ago. Our love of dogs especially the Terrier breeds will always be near and dear to our hearts. We are located in Ocala Florida, known as The Horse Capitol of of the World. An area of lush green pastures and Grand Father Oaks. Our line originates from Donnellas in the U.K. True to the Standard, the Donnellas quality of breed type, temperment, movement, bone, balance and level toplines are what we breed for. We are very selective in our program while striving for this level of quality. Our line is L-2-HGA and HC clear and cardiac certified. My husband has given multiple seminars on the breed and is also an A.K.C. Judge.
